if you are constantly missing birds and other animals that’s because your weapon skill is to low. For example if your long blade skill is on 25; that means that you will hit birds every fifth or sixth time. Also you have to have good agility I luck, so the chance it's honestly very tiny. Whit magic's you hit them more often because magic (I think so) never miss the target. But, ok it can miss, for example fireball etc. But if she hit the target it always has affect. Casting of magic is similar as it’s at weapon. If skill level is low, hands are doing those moves, but PUF magic can be spent and there is no more spells because your skill is low (spell Fizzle). So just practice, practice. Someone would say that you have to take intensive training (at the trainer). But that is too easy, because alchemy makes bunch of expensive potions, you give that to creeper in Calder for 5000 gold, and biggest part of that gold you spent on trainer let’s say for long blade skill. Before that increase his mood over 80, and training will be cheaper. When your skill level pass over 30-35 you will see significance results and difference when you come in battle against animals. Whit my character I had took a training for minor skill spear (because of endurance multiplier) and really I make progress very fast in further leveling, and on that way after 5th level I could quite well to hit target.
Solo practice is easier than you think. Take some Iron (not silver) spear and go in Thelas tomb and attack Ghost, drag him until you reach the doors and attack him. When your health will be critical, drink restore health (you have alchemy, aren’t you?). When you have no more bottles or weapon cracks just click on doors, and you are on safe, go back in village and repair your weapon, make more bottles etc. and go back on ghost. And please do not forget to put on your character complete armor that you picked up when you where creating your character on beginning. If you have Heavy armor, wear your self in steel armor (not chitin) so your armor skill will very much be improved…
I hope that this was hopeful information or at least hel a little. Whit this post my IQ is little shorter than before :D

Game is really great, but I will say something that someone will like to kick my ass but to me is much better Oblivion because it gives much more options, like buying houses, interactions with environment…
Morrowind is hard and quests are very unusual, and I can’t say that I like hose giant mushrooms (because of that I have bypass Shivering isles) and those monsters that have heads that looks like ass with system of fight is retarded in Morrowindu what I don’t like, but still its good game.

No, Disposition or mood of npc to you you can see when you start too speak with him, the blue line on top shows you how much guy like you if it’s 0 than he hate you and he would raher attack you, doesn’t want to have any kind of business with you. And if it’s max (100) than he like’s you very much, and he is happy because you are here, he will give you much lower prizes for you. That worth’s also for trainer, merchants, and most important quest givers. To improve there mood you can do with action persuade. You can buy them out, if you give them 10 or 100 gold and that will improve their mood. Or it can have negative effect if they do not love you. But you can then try too suck them up by using admire. That is why you must increase Speeachcraft skill, and from attributes the most important is Personality. Later you start too finish quests, some guys will not want to give you information about your next quest if they do not like you. To me with good Personality and Speeachcraft give all informations. Sometimes you must bring them some item or otherwise they will not help you. I raze them mood on 90+ and in that moment you don’t have to bring them nothing. Often it’s cool to search those items for them, but sometimes it’s really pain in the ass. For example you must for hundred time leave Ald Ruhna in Vivec to Jobashe for some stupid book. On that way you convince him that you are his friend and he spits information’s for you how to develop without need that you bring him some item. Most people do not like that but I love that.
Alchemy: When alchemy skill reaches 60th level or more, you will have possibility to recognize all 1-4 attribute that some ingredient have. Because of that if you wish for example restore health potion, find two ingredient’s that have attribute of restore health potion, mix them up and it will have 100% that attribute (restore health)
